More than a hobby

Over the years, TABUZZ has grown into several different projects: an app, a volunteer-run blog, a product website and marketing tools. Each one has taught me something different.

TABUZZ App

A new interactive conversation game

It started with a simple idea: creating a game that helps people have better conversations, whether they're friends, couples, families or colleagues.

The new app is in development, with completion planned for late 2026.

I developed the first working version myself using Ionic Vue and TypeScript. The app received more than 1,000 downloads within its first week. I then collected feedback through a user survey and used what I learned to plan the next stage.

Following that initial validation, I secured around €40,000 in funding through MFG Baden-Württemberg to develop the product further. I brought together a team of developers and a designer, and now lead the development of the new app as Product Owner and Project Lead.

My work goes beyond planning: I write user stories, set priorities, coordinate the team, test features and handle operational responsibilities, including budgets and reporting. The challenge is to build something genuinely good while making the most of the resources available.

TABUZZ Blog

A volunteer-run blog that opens doors

I launched the TABUZZ Blog on WordPress in 2019. Over the years, it has grown into a lifestyle publication covering films, travel, festivals, technology and much more.

For me, it's about more than publishing articles. I want to give students and young volunteers the chance to gain experience and enjoy opportunities they might otherwise struggle to access, in exchange for contributing their time and creativity.

The blog has received over one million page views in total, and we've built relationships with film distributors, festivals and various brands. I mainly coordinate the editorial team, build partnerships and take care of the platform's technical and strategic development.

TABUZZ Website

From concept to implementation

I wanted the new TABUZZ app to have a multilingual website that matched the game's visual identity.

I designed and developed the first working version myself with AI-assisted development tools, using Quasar, Vue 3 and TypeScript. I managed the project through GitHub and set up hosting and deployment with Cloudflare.

Once the foundation was in place, a volunteer developer took over further improvements. I organized the handover and continued coordinating the work.

Social Media & Marketing

Less repetitive work, more time for content

Over the years, I've worked across different social media platforms, experimenting with content formats and ways to build an audience.

More recently, I've focused on promoting TABUZZ through authentic, consistent content. To make that easier, I built my own multilingual content creation tool that automates repetitive steps.

For my workflow, it reduced a preparation task that used to take around 15 minutes per language to roughly one minute. That makes it much easier to publish consistently across multiple languages.
